The US dollar/CHF fell 0.5% during the North American trading session on Monday, close to 0.8330. The US dollar (USD) faces sharp selling pressure due to the decline in the US sovereign credit rating, and the Swiss franc pair weakens.
The US dollar index (DXY) tracks the value of the dollar to six major currencies, falling to nearly 100.30.
