Euro/USD strives to continue its rise above 1.1400 during the North American period on Monday. The main currency pair aims to regain the more than three-year high of 1.1474, which was set last Friday. The pair showed strong momentum as concerns about stagflation in the U.S. economy grew and the U.S. dollar (USD) continued to fall, and the pair showed strong momentum, which refers to rising inflation, deterioration in the economy and cooling of employment.

However, White House economic adviser Kevin Hassett ruled out the possibility of a recession. “There is no recession expected this year,” Hassett said in an interview with Fox Business Network.
At the same time, the University of Michigan consumer inflation expectations in April, lightning 12-month forward-looking indicators from three5% accelerated to 6.7% in the month. A decline in consumer sentiment and a surge in consumer inflation expectations are expected to undermine the Fed's efforts to reduce price pressures over the past few years.
On Friday, St. Louis Fed President Alberto Mousalem said jobs to restore “price stability and maximum employment” would become more difficult if the public begins to expect “inflation will remain high in the long term”.
Technical Analysis: EUR/USD remains above all short- to long-term exponential moving averages
EUR/USD rises to nearly 1.1400 during the North American trading session on Monday. The main currency pair performed firmly, with all short- to long-term exponential moving averages (EMAs) sloping upward, indicating a strong uptrend.
The 14-day Relative Strength Index (RSI) jumped to nearly 80.00, indicating strong bullish momentum.
Looking upward, the psychological resistance of 1.1500 will be the main resistance of the currency pair. Instead, the 1.1200 region will be the key support level that limits the EUR/USD to rise in August and September.
