XM Hong Kong stocks: momentum slowed down after a row of rises, and negative news led the Hang Seng Index to fall below the 21,000 mark

XM Hong Kong stocks: China's first-quarter GDP rose 5.4% year-on-year, and the "three-headed carriage" data in March were all accelerating. The United States has launched an investigation into the import of key minerals such as rare earths and uranium, and also requires Nvidia to obtain a license before exporting H20 chips to China; US President Trump once again urged Beijing to take the initiative to quell the trade war. Hong Kong stocks opened lower by more than 100 points today and fell by more than 500 points in half a day, losing to the 20,000 mark.

Tech stocks fell sharply, with Meituan (03690.HK) further expanding to more than 8% in the afternoon, Tencent (00700.HK) falling 3.2%, Alibaba (09988.HK), Xiaomi (01810.HK), JD (09618.HK) and Kuaishou (01024.HK) falling 5% to 6.4%. Baidu (09888.HK) and Bilibili (09626.HK) fell 2.9% and 4%. Kingsoft Cloud (03896.HK) and Wanguo Data (09698.HK) fell 7.8% and 12.6%.

In terms of financial stocks, HSBC (00005.HK) and Standard Chartered (02888.HK) rose 0.8% and 1.3%, the Hong Kong Stock Exchange (00388.HK) and AIA (01299.HK) fell 1.3% and 1.1%, and the domestic insurance stock ZhongAn Online (06060.HK) fell 5.3%. Securities stocks GF (01776.HK), CITIC Construction Investment (06066.HK), Galaxy China (06881.HK), Huatai (06886.HK) and CICC (03908.HK) fell 3.8% to 4.3%.

Pharmaceutical stocks Zhongsheng Pharmaceuticals (01177.HK), Nocheng Jianhua (09969.HK), Innovent Biologics (01801.HK), BeiGene (06160.HK), Kangfang (09926.HK), Kanglong Chemical (03759.HK), CanSino (06185.HK) and WuXin Biologics (02269.HK) fell 4.3% to 5.4%.

Auto stocks fell almost across the board, with Great Wall Motors (02333.HK) and BYD (01211.HK) falling 3.9%, Ideal Auto (02015.HK), Geely (00175.HK) and NIO (09866.HK) falling 4.7% to 5.4%, Xiaopeng (09868.HK) and Zero-Play (09863.HK) falling 7.9%, and Auto Agent Zhongshang (00881.HK) falling 4.9%.

Photovoltaic-related stocks Xinyi Glass (00868.HK) and Xinte Energy (01799.HK) fell 3.7% and 4.3%, GCL Technology (03800.HK) fell 4.8%, and Follett (06865.HK) and Xinyi Solar (00968.HK) fell 5.7% and 6.6%. xmaccount.commodity stocks China Aluminum (02600.HK) fell 4%, while Luomolybdenum (03993.HK) and Minmetals Resources (01208.HK) fell 5% and 5.1%. International gold prices broke the peak and hit US$3,290 today. Zhaojin (01818.HK) rose 5% against the market, and the market-new stock Chifeng Gold (06693.HK) rose 10% again. Laopu Gold (06181.HK) fell 3% against the market, and Zijin Mining (02899.HK) fell 1%.
